There is still a strong taboo regarding sexuality and the elderly in the world today. It’s as if you should only be interested in sex when you’re young and able to procreate. Truth is the desire for sex does not disappear with age. Neither do the many ways one can be aroused. With so many baby boomers now moving into old age, a new kind of sexual revolution is at hand. Advances in medicine and living conditions have dramatically changed the aging process, with virtually unlimited opportunities to find meaning in the stages of life that were unimaginable before. The erotic appeal the old can still feel is leading to completely new ways of living and loving. This film project aims to demonstrate that these practices are causing us to seriously question conventional conceptions not only of age but of the sexual experience itself.
