Year of Production: 2017

Canadian Release Date: August 30, 2019

Georges and Emma decide to move to the countryside. After five years of marriage, they’re really looking forward to getting away from the city. Today, however, the boxes are still unpacked, and Emma’s pathetic vegetable garden hasn’t grown at all. Georges teaches French at a college in Montreal. The hours are sometimes long but he enjoys his new way of life. It’s a sign that good luck will come his way. One evening, Georges surprises Zack, a young teenager who has broken into his home. It appears that Zack likes entering homes to see how people live. Georges sees the project of his dreams in this young dropout and offers to give him private lessons. A lost and illiterate kid, Zack has just met someone who can save him. Georges is Zack’s lucky break. And for Georges, Zack is his. Of course, at moments like this, people tend to throw caution to the wind…
