The Smart Drugs Interactive project explores the historical context of extending and augmenting the human cognitive performance and bio-hacking. It also explores the motivation and viewpoints of people using smart drugs as a means of self improvement and contrasts those with the realities of people forced to take them due to economic necessity. These stories are told using combinations of short, modular pieces of text, infographics, video and audio. The digital media experience will present the user with three chapters or stories that each show a different aspects of human cognitive augmentation and/or “bio-hacking”.
